Another year is upon us and all I can do is sit in amazement, I would have never thought I would witness the year Two Thousand and Fifteen. I would declare that God is good, but a young man once told me, “Chicken is good, God is great.” With this new year upon me I’m reminded of the scripture, “old things have passed away all things are new…” And I’ve witnessed so many people in my life with good hearts that desire to do the right thing but often fall short of following through. Paul declares, “my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak..” Paul also declares, “whenever I want to do good evil is always present….” can’t help but notice this is the starting point whenever we attempt to carry out the will of God.

So my question is why are we given to doing wrong? And I’ve learned that because of God’s grace we tend to drop the ball too often. The Word of God declares, “Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed right then, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil….” Ecc 8:11

Personally I’m grateful, because even I should have been checked out, but even I must now consider my every action. With consideration I have to ask the question, ” If I commit this action and God deals with me once I’m done, what will the outcome be?” Personally, I don’t want to fall in the hands of an Angry God…. Peace and blessings….
